Review: I find it difficult to comment on this film would only repeat what has already been said. Not that I can think of something original, but others seem to be exactly the same feeling as I feel when looking at this film.I saw this movie when I was about 12, 13, maybe 14 years old. He did not have the same feeling nostalgic for many people with it. But what he did was make me ache for those memories. I wanted to (in the words of another reviewer) was 12, and * that * cold. I wish I had that I had friends like that, he laughed like that, and had adventures like that.The milk money scene was probably one of my all-time favorite scenes in movie history. Until I saw this film I had never much respect for River Phoenix held, but bright and clean river which added to the role of Chris Chambers touched me to the point of tears. I read in another review in this area, the river had to think when he was hurt and adults, and that even after the cameras stopped rolling, the river there on Saturday cry and hurt. And I feel every tear and heard every word as if I was there and Chris.This movie made me laugh, cry, rejoice and fear and Chris, Gordie, Teddy and Vern. I like the campfire scene, and today I look back on my own childhood, and remember to laugh stuff like I used to laugh at and wonder about my friends. I remember dreaming about being a writer and an actor, I remember standing on the bullies, I remember walking or riding with my friends, I remember I was so scared and crying friends shoulder.I guess what this movie is not for everyone, they are back in time, although state may be different, chances are you will find similarities, and remember to smile that yes, your life was like * that * cold. In the words of Vern, great timeI especially love last. They found out what a powerful, and just tough talk. I liked the last scene with Chris and Gordie, and closed monologue.I never had any friends later, as I was when I was twelve ... Jesus .... Is anybody there?
